Edward J. Reyes
 
Ed began his State Farm Insurance career in 1992 as an agent in Chico, CA. In 1998 he was promoted to Agency Field Consultant in San Diego, CA. In 1999, he was named Agency Field Executive.
A promotion to Executive Assistant to the Chairman's Council sent Ed to Bloomington in 2002. Later that same year, he moved to Pennsylvania as Vice President – Agency for the Eastern Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Market Area. Ed was the first Latino Vice President – Agency for State Farm. In 2005, Ed was promoted to Vice President – Agency to start the Multicultural Business Development Group at Corporate, where he was charged with initiating this new business group for State Farm.
 
In May 2008, he was named Vice President – Agency Recruiting and Multicultural Business Development in California. Ed was responsible for agent recruiting in California, and started up State Farm California's Multicultural Business Development Group. In August 2009, he was named Vice President – Agency over the agency force of the Los Angeles Market Area, and he continues to oversee the Multicultural Business Development Group.
 
Ed is a member of the South Bay Latino Chamber of Commerce and is a board member for Junior Achievement. Reyes earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Chico State, and is a designated Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF).
 
Ed and his wife, Peggy, have two children: Taylor and Bryant.
